Invitation from our Pastor

When we lose sight of God’s holiness, the sin of presumption usually closely follows.  We presume that God owes us salvation, any time that we feel like bowing our head and praying an empty and mechanical “sinner’s prayer.”  Salvation is absolutely free, but it is precious and is to be treasured above all else.

Our hope is that you have seen that the promises of this world are empty and can never satisfy.

In the midst of our turbulent and ever-changing world, we hope that you have found peace and rest in Jesus Christ.  Jesus came to seek and save those who are lost; He did not come to encourage the self-righteous or sanctimonious.

Matthew 11: 27  “All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son, except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. 28 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. 29 “Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls. 30 “For My yoke is easy, and My load is light.”

At Grace Chapel, we pray each Sunday that God would always focus our entire attention on Him.  May God always be our only Audience, and may each person in the congregation react as an active participant in worship.  Even when we listen to God's Word, we are actively giving our assent and pledging our obedience, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

May God grant you a hunger that only He, in Christ, can satisfy.

If you have any questions about what we believe, or the nature of our worship at Grace Chapel, please do not hesitate to contact us.
